Weightings

A weighting is often assigned to a study -or part of a study- in order to reweight the sample to the population. The reweighting is either carried out by iteration or according to the table of information provided. Once a weighting has been assigned in DAISIE, the results can either be shown weighted or unweighted, or even weighted and unweighted calculations shown in the same table.

Some surveys -like political polls for example- require the use of several weightings. This is possible in DAISIE.
